Low-balling talented job candidates with insulting wage and salary offers has been a practice that has soured the hiring market. So, use this to your advantage to show that your company is better than most.

They want the good coffee around the office, the ability to telecommute, PTO and appealing 401K retirements plans. Comprehensive benefits packages and perks can go a long way toward attracting young talent to your company and keeping your employees happy.

Gone are the days when people feel expected to jump every time their boss rings them on the phone. Today’s talented employees are seeking a more healthy balance between work and their personal life. It is not that they do not want to do their job. Today’s talented job candidates value their personal time away from the office. They are not looking to be chained to their desk like their parents felt all the time. Many talented applicants will not budge on this particular issue, and it can be a major turn off if a company is not helping these applicants to acquire this balance.

Today’s talented employees have lives, future financial concerns and other issues that you need to be aware of to be able to attract these workers to want to work for your company.
